Children's Choir

Children’s choir will be starting in September 2006. The actual date and time have not been determined yet. It will be for children in grades 1 – 5.

Purpose: To teach children about God, Jesus, and other Biblical topics as well as to develop musical skills.

Program description: First a short devotional will be taught followed by a prayer. Next we will sing songs and participate in a variety of musical activities. They may include using instruments, playing games like melody bingo, etc. Sometimes we will be preparing for a musical.

Guidelines: The children will need to be consistent in their attendance in order for them to learn the performance songs or musical.

Performance: Our goal is to have the children perform about once every six weeks. They will be expected to arrive by 9:00 a.m. on the Sunday morning performance dates so we can practice beforehand. The girls should wear skirts or dresses and the boys should wear nice shirts and pants.
