4. On Sunday morning performance dates, please arrive at 9:00 a.m. and be ready to warm-up and do a sound check by 9:05 a.m.
5. Our attitudes toward each other and God should encompass brokenness and submission. There is no room for self. Worship is not about us; God is our focus!
1 Peter 4:8-11 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever.
6. Heart issues for choir members to prayerfully consider:
a. What am I doing to prepare myself spiritually (is my heart right with the Lord)?
b. Am I a problem solver or a problem starter?
c. Do not allow gossip to happen – do not start it, do not join it, do not listen to it!
d. Am I prepared when I come to rehearsal?
e. Have I been praying for my church family?
f. Am I troubled if I am not chosen for a solo, special part, etc.?
g. Am I working hard to improve my skills?
h. Am I troubled when something in the group is changed?
i. Am I practicing?
Glorify the Lord with me;
Let us exalt His name together.
